WJSN's SeolA Confirmed To Star In New Web Drama With VICTON's Sejun
WJSN’s SeolA has been confirmed for the leading role in an upcoming web drama!
Starship Entertainment confirmed on May 2, “WJSN’s SeolA has been chosen as the female leading role in the web drama ‘The Loner Who Became a Popular Kid’ (literal title).”
“The Loner Who Plays a Popular Kid” follows the story of a popular kid who becomes a ghost and helps loner Byung Min navigate his life in high school. The drama will tell an innocent love story and touch upon loss as a loner and ghost find friendship in each other.
SeolA will take on the role of So Min, the first love to many who is beautiful, intelligent, and a top student. She will not only have “Will they, won’t they” moments with Byung Min, but she will also have a hidden side of being a fan fiction writer. She will be joining VICTON’s Sejun, who will play the popular kid-turned-ghost, while rookie actor Kim Jae Hoon will take on the role of Byung Min.
Through her agency, SeolA said, “After appearing in my first web drama in 2017, I’ve only worked on OSTs in the drama world, but now I get to return as an actress. Though I’m very nervous, I’m also excited to show a new side of myself. I am doing my best to prepare, so please watch over me with anticipation.”
“The Loner Who Became a Popular Kid” is set to premiere on various video platforms including YouTube in May.
