Park Yoochun Forwarded To Prosecution For Violating The Narcotics Control Act

On May 3 at 10 a.m. KST, the Narcotics Unit of the Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency forwarded Park Yoochun to the prosecution on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.

Before he was forwarded, Park Yoochun stood in front of the press. He said, “I would like to deliver my sincere apology to many people for lying. I am deeply reflecting on myself. I will receive punishment what I have to be punished for, and I will continue to reflect on my past. I am truly sorry.” When asked about the difference between his testimony and that of Hwang Ha Na’s, Park Yoochun decided to remain silent.

Park Yoochun was arrested on April 26 for the suspicion of purchasing 1.5 grams of Philopon with his former girlfriend Hwang Ha Na on three occasions between February and March of 2019 and injecting the drugs five times. During his police questioning on April 29, Park Yoochun admitted to most of the charges on drug use and also confessed about two additional instances of him injecting the drug by himself.
