Park Bo Young And Kim Young Kwang Talk About Their Dramas Competing In The Same Time Slot
After having starred in the popular film “On Your Wedding Day” together, Kim Young Kwang and Park Bo Young are now rivals for the Monday-Tuesday drama time slot. Kim Young Kwang will be starring in “The Secret Life of My Secretary” while Park Bo Young will be starring in “Abyss.”
Kim Young Kwang attended the press conference for “The Secret Life of My Secretary” on the morning of May 3. About his drama being in the same time slot as Park Bo Young’s, he commented, “I recently contacted Park Bo Young due to the Baeksang [Arts Awards]. Park Bo Young is also filming well for ‘Abyss.’ We don’t have competitive mindsets or anything like that at all. I only asked her about her well-being with [filming], and to be honest, we haven’t been able to contact each other often [after the movie ended].”
The press conference for “Abyss” was held later in the day, and Park Bo Young was asked a similar question. She responded, “We chat recently because there were good results at the Baeksang [Arts Awards]. We do not think of each other as rivals and are cheering each other on a lot. We said we should have the party we have pushed off when our dramas are over and wished each other well for completing our dramas in good health.”
tvN’s “Abyss” and SBS’s “The Secret Life of My Secretary” will both premiere on May 6, with “Abyss” airing at 9:30 p.m. KST and “The Secret Life of My Secretary” airing at 10 p.m. KST.
