Lee Si Eon Says A Certain Scene With Park Bo Young In Script For New Drama Made Him Take The Role

On May 3, during a press conference for tvN’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Abyss,” Lee Si Eon revealed his reason for wanting to star in the drama.

Lee Si Eon shared, “When I saw the script for the drama, there was a physically intimate scene with Park Bo Young. I joined because I thought, ‘This is it.’ However, as soon as I was cast, the scene was taken out of the script. I was disappointed, but I’m having fun.”

Lee Si Eon was asked about his goals for viewership ratings. He made everyone laugh when he replied, “This is my wish. I hope we score 20 percent in viewership ratings. This is my thought.”

“Abyss” is a fantasy drama that tells the story of two people who are murdered and reincarnated with a complete 180-degree change in appearance due to the soul revival stone Abyss. The drama is set to premiere on May 6 at 9:30 p.m. KST. Watch the highlight video for “Abyss” here!
