"Descendants Of The Sun" Director And Screenwriter To Reportedly Reunite For New Drama

Screenwriter Kim Eun Sook and director Baek Sang Hoon may be reuniting for a new drama!

On May 3, news outlet TV Report exclusively reported that the screenwriter and director will return to the small screen in March 2020. Baek Sang Hoon will reportedly cast the actors for the drama himself.

Previously on April 29, Kim Eun Sook’s agency responded to reports of the screenwriter returning with a new drama by saying, “Nothing has been decided. Nothing is confirmed.” With this new report, many are excited for the possibility of the screenwriter and director behind “Descendants of the Sun” to join hands once again.

After gaining recognition for her work in SBS’s “Lovers in Paris,” Kim Eun Sook continued to rise to fame for her role in projects such as “Goblin,” “Mr. Sunshine,” and more.

Baek Sang Hoon is known for co-directing “Descendants of the Sun,” “Secret,” and “Who Are You: School 2015” with Lee Eung Bok.
