BTS Becomes First Male Pop Band To Have Stage Outfits Designed By Dior
BTS will be collaborating with luxury brand Dior for their world tour.
On May 2 (local time), Dior announced, “BTS will be the first male pop band to have their stage outfits designed by Dior Menswear’s artistic director Kim Jones as they head off on their ‘Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” tour.”
BTS had met with Kim Jones at the 61st Grammy Awards in February, and they had shared conversations about what kind of synergy they could create with a collaboration. As a result, BTS will stand on stage at their “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” tour, which will begin on May 4 at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles, wearing stage outfits designed by Kim Jones.
Kim Jones stated, “I love BTS because they’re great guys and also so fashionable. Everyone I know is crazy about them!” He added, “I was inspired by BTS and each of the seven members picked the designs they wanted. We collaborated with them to create the outfits.”

Through their agency Big Hit Entertainment, the members of BTS stated, “We believe it is very meaningful that we are the first male artists to have our stage outfits designed by Dior. They shared designs that were inspired by our stages and music, and based on those designs, we shared ideas and created the stage outfits. We’re excited to wear these clothes in front of all our fans in the stadium.”
BTS will be starting their “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” tour, which will start in Los Angeles and move to Chicago and New Jersey in the U.S., São Paulo in Brazil, London in the U.K., Paris in France, and Osaka and Shizuoka in Japan.
