Golden Child's Bomin And Y Share Past And Present Concerns On "Hello Counselor"

Golden Child‘s Bomin and Y opened up about their concerns on “Hello Counselor”!

On the May 6 broadcast, the two idols made their first appearance on the show alongside fellow guests Ham So Won, Cheetah, and NC.A.

When asked what their recent concerns were, Y replied, “My members tease me by calling me ‘Half 50.'” The nickname, as Shin Dong Yup explained to his confused cohost Kim Tae Gyun, is meant to describe someone who is 25 years old.

Bomin added, “Because I was born in 2000, I feel a generation gap [with Y]. I recently had to learn kkungkkungdda [word connecting game] from Y because I didn’t know what it was.”

Shin Dongyeop then made everyone laugh by jokingly daring him, “Just try and call me Half 100.”

Following this, the cast listened to a concern of a high schooler who feels he is being treated differently from his younger brother by their father. He was revealed to have a talent for art, but his father would not accept him and only complimented his brother.

When the panel was asked whether this was a concern, Bomin voted it as a concern, saying, “Before I debuted, my father wouldn’t accept me as well. He only did after he watched my debut and comeback stages. My parents’ praise is my driving force.”
