Cha Seung Won In Talks To Star In New Disaster Film
Cha Seung Won may be making his big screen comeback!
On May 7, it was reported that Cha Seung Won would be starring in director Kim Ji Hoon’s upcoming film “Water Hole” (literal title) and that he was currently in the middle of negotiating concrete details. In response to the reports, a source from his agency YG Entertainment stated, “Cha Seung Won has received the offer for ‘Water Hole’ and is positively reviewing the offer.”
“Water Hole” is about what happens when a newly built villa falls into a sinkhole with its residents trapped inside. The residents’ families and emergency services attempt to save them, and Cha Seung Won will be playing one of the villa residents.
Cha Seung Won has starred in a variety of films such as “Break Out,” “Jail Breaker,” “Teacher Mr. Kim,” “Ghost House,” “The Big Scene,” “Small Town Rivals,” “Into the Fire,” “Mr. XXX-Kisser,” “Man On High Heels,” “The Map Against the World,” and “Believer.”
He is currently appearing in tvN’s “Korean Hostel in Spain,” created by producing director Na Young Suk.
