BTS's "Map Of The Soul: Persona" Becomes 1st Korean Album To Spend 3 Weeks In Top 10 Of Billboard 200
BTS’s “Map of the Soul: Persona” and title track “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey are having another amazing week on Billboard’s charts!
The Billboard charts for the week dated May 11 were updated on May 7.
BTS’s latest mini album “Map of the Soul: Persona” has taken the No. 7 spot on the Billboard 200, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States. It is now the first Korean album to spend three weeks in the Top 10 of the chart, after it premiered at No. 1 and went on to come in No. 3 last week.
On the Hot 100, “Boy With Luv” takes No. 40, becoming the first song by a Korean group to score three weeks in the Top 40 of the chart.
“Boy With Luv” also rises from No. 27 to No. 22 on the Pop Songs chart, which ranks tracks by radio airplay. It’s at No. 49 on the Digital Song Sales chart and No. 29 on the Streaming Songs chart.
On the Canadian Albums chart, “Map of the Soul: Persona” is also at No. 7. “Boy With Luv” maintains its No. 14 ranking from last week on the Canadian Hot 100.
“Map of the Soul: Persona” spends its third week at the top of the World Albums chart, and is at No. 5 on the Top Albums Sales chart.
BTS comes in at No. 2 on the Artist 100 and No. 1 on the Social 50, now in their 125th week overall at the top.
