BTS' Suga Congratulates LA Dodgers Pitcher Ryu Hyun Jin Following Impressive Game
On May 7, BTS’ Suga attended the LA Dodgers’ game at Dodger Stadium for which Ryu Hyun Jin was pitching.
After the LA Dodgers won the game against the Atlanta Braves in a 9-0 victory, Suga met with pitcher Ryu Hyun Jin and uploaded a photo of them together on Twitter.
The photo is captioned with, “Congratulations on the shutout!” referring to the fact that Ryu Hyun Jin pitched a complete game without letting the opposing team score.

The LA Dodgers also showed their excitement for Suga’s attendance by posting several photos of him at the stadium on social media. In the photos, Suga is wearing a jersey with Ryu Hyun Jin’s name and number on it.

The LA Dodgers also uploaded a short clip of their meeting, with Ryu Hyun Jin saying, “A big star came all the way here.” Suga replies, “No, no I’m not. I came, and you pitched a shutout. I came here once five years ago, but Kershaw was pitching then.”

BTS is currently traveling through the United States for their “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” world tour. After having performed in Los Angeles at the Rose Bowl stadium this past week, BTS will be heading to Chicago for their next stop.
