Park Min Young And Kim Jae Wook's 1st Kiss As Real Couple Boosts "Her Private Life" Ratings To All-Time High

As its love story finally begins in earnest, tvN’s “Her Private Life” has achieved its highest viewership ratings yet!

According to Nielsen Korea, viewership ratings for “Her Private Life” soared to an all-time high on May 8. The latest episode scored an average rating of 3.1 percent and a peak of 3.5 percent, breaking the drama’s personal record for highest viewership ratings.

“Her Private Life” also performed well with the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored an average of 2.3 percent and a peak of 2.6 percent.

On the latest episode of the drama, both Sung Duk Mi (played by Park Min Young) and Ryan Gold (played by Kim Jae Wook) struggled with their feelings for one another. After suffering in silence throughout the episode, a heartbroken Sung Duk Mi finally confronted Ryan Gold about why he wanted to end their fake relationship, asking him tearfully, “What was so hard about fake-dating me? Did you hate it that much?”

Ryan Gold responded by revealing that he had developed genuine feelings for Sung Duk Mi, saying, “Yes. Because it was fake. I hated it because it was fake, when I want to [date you] for real.”

Then, after confessing their feelings for one another, the two finally shared their first real kiss as an actual couple.
