BTS Sets New Record For Highest Album Sales In Gaon Monthly Chart History; Achieves Double Crown

BTS has made Gaon Chart history with their latest release!

On May 9, Gaon Chart announced that BTS’s “Map of the Soul: Persona” had sold 3,229,032 copies during the month of April, achieving the highest album sales ever recorded in the history of the Gaon monthly album chart.

Not only did “Map of the Soul: Persona” top the physical album chart for April, but BTS’s new title track “Boy With Luv” (featuring Halsey) topped the monthly digital download chart as well, earning the group a double crown for the month.
