Watch: "Produce X 101" Trainees React To Rankings + Trainers Crack Down On Evaluations In New Preview

“Produce X 101” will be turning up the tension in the upcoming episode.

The preview first shows the shocked reactions of highly ranked trainees such as Koo Jung Mo, Kim Yo Han, and Kim Min Kyu and hints at huge changes in the rankings. It then leads to the rest of the evaluation performances left to come, continuing from the first episode. The trainees undergo intense scrutiny with comments such as, “It felt like they did it like kids,” and “The amount of time spent as trainees is not reflected in their skills.”

It also shows glimpses of the trainees receiving their first lessons with the trainers. Regardless of the trainees’ grades, the trainers notice problems with their eagle eyes. They point out mistakes and comment, “You didn’t practice at all, did you?” “You don’t look confident at all,” with trainer Choi Young Joon even giving up and saying, “I can’t do this lesson.”

The trainees are evaluated once more through their self-filmed solo performances of the title track “X1-MA,” and the trainers continue their intense evaluation. The preview also teases the mysterious fate of trainees who receive an “X” grade.
