Watch: Jang Dong Gun And Song Joong Ki Prepare For War In Character Teasers For "Arthdal Chronicles"

Jang Dong Gun and Song Joong Ki are gearing up for a legendary battle in “Arthdal Chronicles.”

tvN’s new weekend drama “Arthdal Chronicles” tells the fateful story of people in the city of Arthdal who create legends for themselves. The series has released two new character teasers for their leading actors Jang Dong Gun and Song Joong Ki.

Jang Dong Gun will play the role of Ta Gon, the son of a tribal leader. He appears with the cheers of many warriors and he leads the charge into a battlefield of fire and arrows. With soldiers at his back, he has an air of ease as he walks forward with a formidable aura. He looks up at Eun Seom and strikes fear as he says, “Warrior of Wahan, listen to me! I wish to meet you.”

Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki takes on the role of Eun Seom, who tries to protect the Wahan Tribe. He says, “I will save Wahan from Arthdal” and wades into war with enemies without any fear. He flings himself off a cliff into water and the words ring out, “Son of a monster” and “That is your fate.” His eyes glint with charisma as he proclaims, “I am Eum Seom, warrior of Wahan.”

“Arthdal Chronicles” will air as the follow up drama to “Confession,” premiering on June 1 at 9 p.m. KST.
