Lee Won Geun Confirms Plans For Military Enlistment

Actor Lee Won Geun will be enlisting next month.

Following reports that the actor was preparing to enlist in the military, a source from his agency Yooborn Company stated, “Lee Won Geun will be enlisting in June. After going through basic training, he will fulfill his duties as a conscripted policeman.”

They continued to state that the exact date and location of Lee Won Geun’s enlistment will not be revealed. They explained, “As Lee Won Geun is simply going off to fulfill his duties to his country as any other Korean man, he has expressed his desire to have a quiet enlistment.”

Lee Won Geun made his debut in 2012 through the hit MBC drama “The Moon Embracing the Sun” and has appeared in many other productions such as “Secret Door,” “Cheer Up!” “Good Wife,” “Queen of Mystery,” and “Jugglers.”
