May Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for girl groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various girl groups, using big data collected from April 10 to May 11.
BLACKPINK topped the list for the fifth consecutive month, enjoying a 15.66 percent increase in their score since April for a total brand reputation index of 15,698,051. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” “YouTube,” and “Jennie,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “pretty,” “cute,” and “cool.” BLACKPINK’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 73.01 percent positive reactions.
TWICE came in at second place on this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 13,240,118, marking an impressive 83.00 percent rise in their score since last month.
IZ*ONE, who took third place in the rankings for May, also saw an increase of 5.67 percent in their score for a total brand reputation index of 10,349,655.
