"Beautiful World" Achieves Its Highest Ratings Yet + Ups The Suspense With Cliffhanger
As JTBC’s “Beautiful World” keeps its viewers on the edge of their seats, its ratings have soared to a new all-time high!
On May 11, the suspenseful drama, which tackles the difficult subject of school violence, managed to break its own personal viewership record once again. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of “Beautiful World” scored an average nationwide rating of 4.6 percent and a peak of 4.9 percent, marking the drama’s highest ratings yet.

The May 11 broadcast of “Beautiful World” ended with an intriguing cliffhanger, leaving viewers itching to find out what will happen next. At the very end of the episode, after struggling to decide what to do with his knowledge, Shin Dae Gil (played by Kim Hak Sun) finally made up his mind and called Park Moo Jin (played by Park Hee Soon), the father of Park Sun Ho (played by Nam Da Reum).
Shin Dae Gil, who appeared to have some crucial information about the day of Park Sun Ho’s accident, told Park Moo Jin, “I have something to tell you. If I don’t do it today, I think it’ll be hard for me to muster the courage to do it.” However, just as Shin Dae Gil declared that he was ready to reveal what he knew, he was hit by a speeding truck, dashing Park Moo Jin’s hopes of learning the truth.
