"Mother Of Mine" Ratings Hit New All-Time High As "Confession" Comes To Triumphant End
Both KBS 2TV’s “Mother of Mine” and tvN’s “Confession” soared to new highs last night!
On May 12, the hit drama “Mother of Mine” broke past the 30 percent barrier once again to achieve its highest viewership ratings yet. The latest broadcast of the drama scored average nationwide ratings of 26.6 percent during its first half and 32.6 percent during its second, beating its own previous record of 32.1 percent.
Meanwhile, 2PM’s Junho‘s crime drama “Confession” managed to end with a bang. The May 12 finale was the drama’s most-watched episode yet, enjoying a remarkable increase of 1.5 percent from the night before to score an average rating of 6.3 percent nationwide.
In the variety show realm, SBS’s “My Ugly Duckling” and KBS 2TV’s “The Return of Superman” continued to draw high ratings. “My Ugly Duckling” was the most-watched variety program of the night with average ratings of 17.1 percent, 18.8 percent, and 20.7 percent; while “The Return of Superman” came in second place for the night with average ratings of 9.2 percent and 13.8 percent.
