Chu Ja Hyun Goes From Aristocrat To Protective Mother On The Run In "Arthdal Chronicles"
tvN’s upcoming weekend drama “Arthdal Chronicles” has shared a first look at Chu Ja Hyun!
The drama will be set in the mythical city of Arthdal and tell the story of people who create legends and become heroes. Chu Ja Hyun will play the role of Asahon, a woman of the White Mountain Tribe and the mother of Eun Seom (played by Song Joong Ki). After giving birth to her son, she takes him somewhere and wanders the lands for over ten years, meeting an unfortunate fate.
Chu Ja Hyun was a member of a high-ranking family in Arthdal but her decision to choose love above all else has tragic consequences. Despite this, her love for her son Eun Seom never falters as she stays a strong mother and brings more weight to the drama. The new stills show how she goes from a woman of great wealth and family power to a woman on the run with her son.
The production staff shared, “Chu Ja Hyun will open the series as Asahon, and she is set to create amazingly emotional scenes that will start the series on a great note. We hope people will anticipate Chu Ja Hyun’s appearance as she brings her character to life.”
“Arthdal Chronicles” is set to premiere on June 1.
