Park Doha From BOYS24 And "MIXNINE" Announces Military Enlistment

BOYS24’s Park Doha, who also appeared on JTBC’s survival reality show “MIXNINE,” will be enlisting in the military.

On May 14, he posted a message to his fans on his Instagram account.

It’s already summer. Are you doing well in this unpredictable weather?

It was decided earlier this year, and I had to tell you this one day, but I didn’t know what to say or how to say it to you, so I’m going to tell you the news now.

I will be enlisting next Monday on [May] 20.

I’m sorry that I couldn’t see you more often, but I’m glad that we have a last chance to see each other before I go.

I will tell you again about the stories in my heart face-to-face at our meeting that will take place soon.

Don’t worry too much about me. I’m going to fulfill the natural duty of national defense. As I’m on my way to lay down the heavy burden that’s always been on my mind, I feel a lot lighter somehow.

I’m going to put down this heavy load of unrest and anxiousness that I had for a long time while running endlessly toward this path and use this time as a meaningful one to take a leap forward to become a better person, to be happier, and to live well.

I will make sure not to get sick or injured. I will return healthy.

Park Doha debuted as a member of BOYS24 and appeared on “MIXNINE.” Recently, he has been active as a solo singer. Ahead of his military enlistment, he will be holding his first fan meeting on May 17 at Redbig Space in Seoul.
