Watch: "Kang's Kitchen 2" Cast Gears Up For Their New Restaurant (Feat. Trademark Petty Bickering)

Upcoming tvN variety show “Kang’s Kitchen 2” has released two new trailers!

In one teaser, Kang Ho Dong gets the viewers hyped for the new season by standing in front of his new restaurant and shouting, “The second Kang’s Kitchen, a taste that even hwarangs love, will be coming to you on Friday, May 31 at 9:10 p.m. [KST]. To everyone watching, please look forward to it!”

The rest of the cast then shout at the camera in excitement before running back into the restaurant with hilarious lines like, “I have to do the dishes,” “I have to cut kimchi,” and “I have to prepare ingredients!” Lee Soo Geun comments at the very end, “Everyone ran away quickly so they didn’t have to film [the intro] again.”

In the second teaser, Lee Soo Geun writes the restaurant rules on the chalkboard: “Don’t fight, be happy.” The production staff then cut together several scenes with Kang Ho Dong trying to help out his staff or give them advice and usually just getting in the way. Lee Soo Geun, in particular, often gets into petty arguments with him as the production staff write in the subtitles, “This restaurant staff is like a family.”
