Watch: Kim Ji Won Defends Her People Against Jang Dong Gun In Teasers For "Arthdal Chronicles"

Highly anticipated tvN drama “Arthdal Chronicles” has released new teasers featuring Kim Ji Won!

“Arthdal Chronicles” is a fantasy drama set in the mythical land of Arth and the ancient city of Arthdal. Song Joong Ki plays Eun Seom, the son of the noblewoman Asahon (Choo Ja Hyun) and a member of the Wahan tribe. Kim Ji Won plays Tan Ya, the guardian and shaman of the Wahan tribe, and Jang Dong Gun plays Ta Gon, a warrior who dreams of conquering Arthdal as his own kingdom. Kim Ok Bin also stars as Taeilha, an ambitious woman who wants to be a tribal leader in her own right.

The teasers begin with a sweet moment in the forest between Kim Ji Won and Song Joong Ki’s characters. However, the romantic atmosphere quickly disappears with Kim Ji Won saying in voiceover, “I am Tan Ya of Wahan, and I curse all of you.”

In the rest of the teaser, Kim Ji Won and her tribe are put in chains as Jang Dong Gun rides proudly into town with his soldiers. When Jang Dong Gun threatens Kim Ji Won with death, however, she retorts, “If you kill me, that child will die too.”
