Kim Gun Mo’s father has passed away.

According to several sources in the industry, Kim Gun Mo’s father passed away on May 19 at the age of 79 after battling a chronic illness. His mortuary was set up at a funeral home at St. Mary’s Hospital in Gangnam. The funeral procession will take place on May 22 at 9:30 a.m. KST.

In response to the news, a source from SBS’s “My Ugly Duckling” revealed, “It is true that Kim Gun Mo’s father passed away. However, this will not affect the program. The upcoming episodes will air alike the previous broadcast.” The source also added that Kim Gun Mo’s mother is currently taking a break from the program due to health concerns.
