BTS Becomes 1st Group To Top Billboard's Artist 100 For 5 Weeks + Scores Amazing Rankings On More Charts
BTS continues their incredible achievements on Billboard’s charts with “Map of the Soul: Persona”!
On May 21, Billboard updated its weekly charts. BTS’s “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey scores No. 61 on the Hot 100 this week, which ranks the most popular songs in the United States.
Over on the Billboard 200, “Map of the Soul: Persona” grabs No. 17 in its fifth week on the chart. BTS previously became the first Korean artist to spend four weeks in the top 10 of the chart, after taking the top spot in its first week.
“Boy With Luv” holds its No. 24 spot from last week on the Pop Songs radio airplay chart this week as well. It takes No. 30 on the Canadian Hot 100, while “Map of the Soul: Persona” comes in at No. 19 on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart.
On the World Albums chart, “Map of the Soul: Persona” takes No. 1 for the fifth week in a row. It’s also at No. 5 on the Top Albums Sales chart.
BTS soars back up to No. 1 on the Artist 100 chart. BTS is now the first group to take No. 1 on the Artist 100 for five weeks overall since the chart was created in July 2014. The Artist 100 measures measures artist activity by combining album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming, and social media fan interaction with the goal of showing a multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.
BTS also continues to reign over the Social 50 chart at No. 1 — they’re now in their 127th week at the top.
Congratulations to BTS!
