Yoon Kyun Sang, U-KISS's Jun, And More Attend Script Reading For New OCN Drama

OCN’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama “Undercover Teacher” has revealed photos from its first table reading!

“Undercover Teacher” is about a lawyer who tries to discover the truth behind a murder that takes place at a prestigious high school.

Actors including Yoon Kyun Sang, Geum Sae Rok, U-KISS’s Jun (Lee Jun Young), Choi Yoo Hwa, Choi Kyu Jin, Han So Eun, Kim Myung Ji, Byung Hun (L.Joe), and former 4Minute member Kwon Sohyun attended the script reading.

Yoon Kyun Sang will play Gi Moo Hyuk, an undercover lawyer who sneaks his way into the elite school. While at the reading, the actor enthusiastically shared his opinions and thoughts with the production team. The staff expressed confidence at the actor’s ability to portray Gi Moo Hyuk’s annoying and talkative side while simultaneously exuding charisma in definitive moments.

Geum Sae Rok will play Ha So Hyun, a teacher who is filled with love for her students. She has a charming smile and is not afraid to believe in and depend on her students while also correcting their mistakes and bad behavior.

Jun will play Yoo Bum Jin, a perfect student at the top of his class. Choi Yoo Hwa will play ace detective Cha Hyun Jung, who will have a rivalry with Gi Moo Hyuk.

The actors were perfectly immersed in their characters throughout the script reading session. The production team stated, “Four hours went by so quickly. We were almost holding our breaths until the script reading ended as the actors were 200 percent immersed in their characters and showed great chemistry. We will meet you this summer with an exciting, thrilling, and refreshing drama that will allow viewers to experience catharsis.”

OCN’s “Undercover Teacher” will premiere after “Save Me 2” this July.
