Watch: Minah And Yeo Jin Goo Perfectly Balance Professionalism And Fun In Making Video For "Absolute Boyfriend"

SBS’s “Absolute Boyfriend” has released new making videos showing the cast and production team being all smiles behind the scenes!

Based on the popular Japanese manga series of the same name, “Absolute Boyfriend” is a new “romantic melodrama disguised as science fiction.” The romantic comedy will tell the story of Uhm Da Da, a special effects makeup artist who has grown hard-hearted after being wounded by love (played by Girl’s Day’s Minah), and Zero-Nine, a humanoid robot built to become the ideal boyfriend (played by Yeo Jin Goo).

In the first making video, Minah and Yeo Jin Goo are getting ready to film the scene in which Yeo Jin Goo comes out of his case. Right before filming the scene, Yeo Jin Goo prepares by doing several push-ups. However, all of the exercise backfires while filming because he later claims, “I’m out of breath.” When asked why, he laughs and explains, “Because I entered [the case] right after I exercised.”

While completely professional during filming, the two leads also become playful when on break. They also try to outdo each other’s kindness when Yeo Jin Goo first says, “Da Da is tired,” while massaging her arms. Minah returns the favor by massaging his shoulders, but Yeo Jin Goo forces Minah to sit down and asks, “Should I get you a wheelchair?”

In the second making video, clips of the cast and staff hard at work are shown. Despite the heat and intense rain, the “Absolute Boyfriend” team worked hard to perform their best. The video also shows a montage of bloopers with one scene having Yeo Jin Goo and Minah fall into bed with a large thud. Surprised and unable to hold in his laughter, Yeo Jin Goo asks, “Didn’t it sound like something broke?”

Finally, the video ends with clips of the cast and production team smiling and laughing on set, having a blast while filming.

“Absolute Boyfriend” airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m. KST.
