New York City's Empire State Building Lights Up In Sparkling Purple For BTS And ARMYs
The Empire State Building in New York City had a brand new look just for BTS and ARMYs!
On May 21 (local time), the Twitter account for the Empire State Building announced that they would be lighting up the top of the building in a sparkling purple for five minutes every hour from sunset for BTS and ARMYs. They also shared a photo of BTS posing with a smaller version of the building.

BTS also talked about the surprise for fans when they tweeted out a different photo and announced how they would be lighting up the building just for their fans. They also shared a photo of the building itself when the purple came on, showing their love for ARMYs in the caption that came with it.

BTS was in New York City to participate in an iHeartRadio LIVE interview with host Elvis Duran. They will soon head off to continue their “Speak Yourself” tour, with their next stops taking them to Sao Paulo, Brazil on May 25 and 26.
