Watch: Hyolyn Expresses Her Honest Thoughts In Emotional "youknowbetter" MV

Hyolyn is back with a new digital single!

On May 22 at 6 p.m. KST, Hyolyn dropped her newest single “youknowbetter” along with its music video.

“youknowbetter” is the first part of the singer’s new album project for this year “#xhyolynx.” Last year, the singer released a three-part single project “Set up Time” featuring the songs “To Do List,” “Dally,” and “See Sea.”

Hyolyn participated in composing and writing the lyrics for “youknowbetter,” which is a mid-tempo pop ballad that emphasizes Hyolyn’s explosive vocals.

The music video begins with Hyolyn saying, “While learning and experiencing many things, the biggest change occurred within myself. I [used to] lack courage and confidence, and I was scared. I wanted to avoid and run away from everything. I felt those emotions for every situation I encountered. I know that there are many more things [in the future] that will put pressure on me, so I will try to endure and not give up.”
