SNUPER's Agency Clarifies Status Of Sangho's Ongoing Hiatus

SNUPER’s agency has made an official statement regarding member Sangho’s ongoing hiatus and the possibility of his return.

On May 23, Widmay Entertainment belatedly confirmed that Sangho was recently forced to halt all activities due to health issues. A representative of the agency stated, “For the past month or so, Sangho has been unable to participate in [SNUPER’s] activities due to health reasons. He was unable to go on tour with the group to Canada and Mexico, and he is not participating in the group’s current activities in Japan.”

However, the agency revealed that Sangho is currently planning to return to his activities in June. “Sangho will continue to rest this week, and he will return to promoting [with the group] as usual in June,” said the representative. “We apologize for having caused you concern up until now. We ask that you show [Sangho] lots of support.”

Earlier this week, after fans had grown concerned over Sangho’s continuing absence from SNUPER’s activities, Sangho personally posted a message explaining that he had fallen ill. The idol wrote, “I went to the doctor because of an ongoing high fever and various symptoms of physical illness, and I received the diagnosis that I needed to undergo multiple types of examinations.”

Sangho went on to reassure his fans, “Fortunately, I didn’t have a serious illness, as we had feared. I will recover quickly, so that I can greet you again soon in good health.”

The other members of SNUPER are currently in Japan for their promotions abroad.
