Kim Jung Tae Gives Update About Battle With Liver Cancer + Return Through New Show

Kim Jung Tae is returning to the industry through a new skyDrama variety show titled “Shin Sean Husband”!

In October 2018, the actor was diagnosed with an early stage of liver cancer and withdrew from “The Last Empress.”

On May 23, a press conference for “Shin Sean Husband” was held at Gabriel Hall of Sogang University in Mapo District, Seoul. During the event, the actor shared, “The surgery was bigger than I expected. Fortunately, the recovery was fast, so I even started exercising.” Then he revealed why he chose to appear on the program, saying, “I felt I should receive a lot of support and pay it back. I wanted to show people how well I’m living with my family.”

“Shin Sean Husband” will observe the realistic daily lives of star couples and make the husbands into ideal ones through a “good husband styling project.” Kim Jung Tae will appear with his wife Jeon Yeo Jin to unveil the daily life of their 11 years of marriage.

“Shin Sean Husband” will premiere on May 28 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
