Lee Joon Gi Makes Meaningful Donation To Help Patients In Need

Actor Lee Joon Gi has made a generous contribution to help those in need!

According to the fund project division of Korea University Medical Center on May 27, Lee Joon Gi donated 60 million won (approximately $50,631) and five tons of rice to help underprivileged patients. The five tons of rice was part of a rice wreath sent by his fans, and he expressed his desire to do something meaningful with his fans who support his regular donation activities.

It is said that the actor was touched by his fans’ continuous donation activities to show their support for him and wanted to share the love and sincerity he received to where help was needed. The funds and rice he donated will be used to treat patients in areas without medical care.

Lee Ki Hyung, the president of the medical department of Korea University Medical Center, shared, “I heard that actor Lee Joon Ki and his fans have been consistently practicing good deeds and volunteer work. The sight of them running everywhere in need and offering a warm hand is evidence of hope for many people. I will remember the value of the donation and rice they sent, and it will be used wisely for patients inside and outside of Korea.”

Meanwhile, Lee Joon Gi just finished up his Asia Tour and is searching for his next project.
