"Produce X 101" Achieves No. 1 Ratings In Time Slot With 1st Elimination Ceremony

Mnet’s “Produce X 101” managed to top its time slot with its very first elimination ceremony!

On May 31, the idol survival show revealed its official rankings from the first round of competition, sending 39 contestants home and announcing the current standings for the 60 trainees who will be advancing to the second round.

According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of “Produce X 101” achieved the highest ratings in its time slot, scoring an average viewership rating of 2.450 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area and an average of 2.102 percent nationwide.

Additionally, the show continued its winning streak with the key demographics of viewers ages 15 to 39 and viewers ages 20 to 49, taking No. 1 in its time slot among both demographics for the fifth consecutive week. The program performed particularly well with women in their teens and forties, scoring average viewership ratings of 3.9 percent and 4.1 percent among the two demographics respectively.
