WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon has taken to his Twitter to reassure fans about his health.

He tweeted the following message:

I’m sorry for causing you to worry … I wanted to participate in the “Inkigayo” performance and fan sign event today, but I decided that the right thing to do is to recover quickly and avoid affecting our other activities!! From now on, I’ll take good care of my body and avoid creating situations that will make our Inner Circles worry!!

On June 2, WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon was sent to the emergency room after feeling symptoms of a herniated disc in his neck.

As a result, WINNER will not be participating in the June 2 broadcast of SBS’s “Inkigayo.”

Hello, this is YG Entertainment.

WINNER will unfortunately be unable to perform on the live broadcast of SBS’s “Inkigayo” today.

While waiting for the rehearsal, Kang Seung Yoon felt symptoms of a herniated disc in his neck, and he was sent to the emergency room in a nearby hospital.

Kang Seung Yoon strongly wished to perform to keep his promise with fans, but he has decided not to participate in today’s “Inkigayo” stage according to the agency’s and producers’ suggestions.

We judged that the best decision in this unexpected situation was to focus on treatment to prevent his pain from getting worse.

We relay our apologies to the fans and viewers who were waiting for WINNER’s live performance today, and we will do our best so that Kang Seung Yoon can recover as soon as possible.
