Lee Hyun Woo And Other Content Y Artists Join Park Seo Joon's Agency After Acquisition

Park Seo Joon’s agency, Awesome ENT, has taken over 100 percent of the shares in another entertainment agency, Content Y.

Content Y, whose artists include Lee Hyun Woo, Seo Hyo Rim, and Han Ji Hye, is a former subsidiary company of KeyEast. KeyEast is a major management agency founded by actor Bae Yong Joon.

On June 2, Park Seo Joon’s agency, Awesome ENT, stated to TVReport, “Our agency, Awesome ENT, which houses artists like Park Seo Joon, Hong Soo Hyun, and [Girl’s Day’s] Yura, will now work together as one agency with the 10 artists who were under Content Y, including Han Ji Hye, Seo Hyo Rim, and Lee Hyun Woo.”

Park Seo Joon and Lee Hyun Woo are already friends, having worked together as agency colleagues at KeyEast, and Park Seo Joon made a surprise appearance at Lee Hyun Woo’s fan meeting back in 2018.

Content Y was formed through a joint investment between KeyEast and Yang Geun Hwan, the CEO of Awesome ENT. Yang Geun Hwan was a founding member of KeyEast before becoming CEO of Content Y in July 2017. He then left Content Y to set up his own agency, Awesome ENT, in July 2018.

As Park Seo Joon had been with Yang Geun Hwan since his debut, he decided to follow him from KeyEast to Awesome ENT when it was set up.

Meanwhile, KeyEast had announced back in April that they had merged with Content K in order to focus on producing content instead of simply managing artists.
