Stars Congratulate Korean Soccer Team For Qualifying For Semifinals In 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup
On June 9, the South Korean soccer team played against Senegal at the Bielsko-Biala Stadium in Poland for the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup. After 90 minutes, both teams were tied 2 to 2, and they tied again 3 to 3 during overtime. The match was ultimately decided by a penalty shootout where South Korea won with a final score of 3 to 2.
This is South Korea’s first time qualifying for the FIFA U-20 World Cup semifinals in 36 years since the 1983 FIFA World Youth Championship in Mexico.
