Kang Daniel's Agency Clarifies Reports About Asia Tour
Kang Daniel’s agency denied reports of the singer going on an Asia tour in the second half of the year.
According to multiple K-pop industry insiders, Kang Daniel’s one-man agency KONNECT Entertainment has reportedly sought to promote his Asia tour in the second half of the year. As a result, his Asia tour has become a hot topic among officials pushing for overseas performances by K-pop idols and local celebrities since May.
One source stated, “Kang Daniel’s Asia tour and the publication of pictorial books are being talked about together in the market.”
However, on June 10, KONNECT Entertainment clarified, “There is nothing definite about Kang Daniel’s Asia tour in the second half of the year. The album has to come out first in order to decide his activities. The company is still in the process of being founded, so no specific time has been confirmed for his activities. I think we need to take time to prepare for schedules in the second half of the year.”
Last month, the Seoul District Courts ruled in favor of Kang Daniel in his contract dispute with LM Entertainment. Therefore, Kang Daniel is allowed to pursue independent activities without any interference from his former agency. However, LM Entertainment appealed the court’s decision, and the second round of court questioning for Kang Daniel and the agency is set to take place on June 12.
Earlier today, KONNECT Entertainment also clarified reports of his solo debut date.
