Kim Young Kwang And Lee Sun Bin In Talks For New Action Film
Kim Young Kwang and Lee Sun Bin may unite in a new action film!
On June 12, several sources from the film industry stated that Kim Young Kwang and Lee Sun Bin have been cast as lead actors of upcoming action spy film “Mission Possible” (tentative title).
“Mission Possible” will tell the story of an agent from China’s Ministry of State Security who mistakes an owner of a private investigator agency as a National Intelligence Service agent. Afterwards, the two begin to investigate a large-scale gun smuggling case between China and Korea.
According to the reports, Kim Young Kwang is offered the role of Woo Su Han, the owner of a private investigator agency who gets mistaken as a NIS agent. Lee Sun Bin reportedly received an offer for the role of the MSS agent Yi Ling. In order to investigate the case of gun smuggling, she comes to Korea under the false name Yoo Da Hee.
In response, a source from Wide-S Company revealed, “Kim Young Kwang is positively reviewing the offer to star in the film ‘Mission Possible.'” A source from Lee Sun Bin’s side similarly stated, “It’s one of the films that [Lee Sun Bin] is currently reviewing an offer for.”
Kim Young Kwang caught the public’s attention through the 2018 film “On Your Wedding Day,” and he currently stars in SBS’s “The Secret Life of My Secretary.” Lee Sun Bin made her debut in 2014 and appeared in various dramas including the 2016 OCN drama “Squad 38.” The actress is also confirmed to star in tvN’s upcoming drama “The Great Show” (literal title) along with Song Seung Heon.
