MONSTA X Snaps Photos With President Moon Jae In And King Harald V Of Norway

Here’s a rare interaction between MONSTA X, Korean president Moon Jae In, and King Harald V of Norway!

On June 12 (local time), the first ever Northern European K-pop concert, Voyage to K-Pop in Oslo, took place at the Oslo Opera House in Norway. The event was held during president Moon Jae In’s stay in Norway after being invited to celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

On June 13, the Blue House’s official Twitter account tweeted about MONSTA X’s performances with photos.

The first tweet reads, “As the first performer, MONSTA X, who is actively promoting globally, took to the stage and performed their first song ‘Alligator.’ After their first performance, the members of MONSTA X said, ‘We thank president Moon Jae In for inviting us to this honorable event to celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Norway.'”

The Blue House then tweeted, “MONSTA X sang ‘Dramarama’ as their next song. It seems to be the track they got their first [music show] win with. In the chorus, the audience sang along with them. When the MONSTA  X members shouted ‘Dramarama,’ the crowd yelled ‘Hey~’ back.”

The Blue House also tweeted photos of president Moon Jae In and MONSTA X’s interaction. The tweet reads, “President Moon Jae In met with the MONSTA X members who performed at today’s event, shared a conversation, and took a selfie together. After the event, president Moon Jae In and first lady Kim Jung Sook took a celebratory photo with all of the performers. We thank all of the performers for the marvelous performances today.”

After the event, Joohoney also posted photos they took with King Harald as well as president Moon Jae In and first lady Kim Jung Sook on MONSTA X’s Twitter account.

He wrote, “It was an honor to take part in the celebratory event for the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Norway! King of Norway, president Moon Jae In, and first lady Kim Jung Sook, thank you for inviting us!! We were thankful that you sang along to our song ‘Dramarama’!!! Please remember MONSTA X and Monbebe.”
