Update: Yoon Kyun Sang, U-KISS's Jun, And More Teeter Towards Intense Battle Of Wits In "Mr. Temporary" Teaser

OCN’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama “Mr. Temporary” has shared a new teaser video showing the tension between Yoon Kyun Sang and the quartet of students he suspects in a mysterious murder case.

“Mr. Temporary” will be set in an elite high school, following Gi Moo Hyuk (played by Yoon Kyun Sang) as he infiltrates as a substitute teacher to get to the bottom of a case involving the murder of a female student. In his sights are Yoo Beom Jin (U-KISS’s Jun, or Lee Jun Young), Lee Ki Hoon (Choi Gyu Jin), Han Tae Ra (Han So Eun), and Na Ye Ri (Kim Myung Ji), four students who seem to have the school in the palm of their hand and appear to be hiding a secret.

The teaser begins with Gi Moo Hyuk solemnly walking down the hallways of the school, opening the door to a classroom and walking in with a determined glint in his eye. In front of him are the four students, who glare back at him as though they are annoyed by the newcomer entering their territory. In the middle of them is a fifth desk with white chrysanthemums, meant for the female student who lost her life in a murder. The tension in the air could be cut with a knife as the undercover lawyer prepares to engage in a battle of wits with four students who seem to have something sinister brewing beneath the surface.

OCN’s new drama”Mr. Temporary” has released new teaser videos that show duality in its characters.

The new Wednesday-Thursday drama will follow a lawyer as he goes undercover to uncover the truth behind a mysterious murder that happened in an elite high school.

The first teaser video shows the start of lawyer Gi Moo Hyuk (played by Yoon Kyun Sang) and his journey to infiltrate the high school. He appears to be packing up his belongings, as if he’s been chased out of his law firm, before he stops and glares, unable to find his rage. He ominously says, “Whether you’ll get screwed over or I’ll get screwed over, let’s wait and see.” Then, the sound of school bells ring as he stands in front of a class and says, “I’m Gi Kang Jae, who will be teaching politics and law.”

The second teaser shows the frightening duality of the students who are at the center of the mysterious murder. The quartet of U-KISS’s Jun (Lee Jun Young), Choi Kyu Jin, Han So Eun, and Kim Myung Ji are known as “Chun Myung High School’s Top Class,” but things aren’t always as they seem.

At first, the four look distraught as they talk about the deceased student, saying things like “We were in the same classroom,” “A friend you was studying died,” “Don’t speak so rashly,” and “We can’t be stuck together 24/7.” However, their attitudes change after the tagline, “The truth is in here,” and the students laugh off the situation, as if they’d been acting the entire time.

“Mr. Temporary” is set to premiere on July 17 at 11 p.m. KST.
