B1A4's Jinyoung Enlists In The Military

B1A4’s Jinyoung has enlisted in the army.

On June 20, Jinyoung quietly entered the Nonsan Army Training Center in South Chungcheong Province. After receiving four weeks of basic military training, Jinyoung will continue to fulfill his mandatory military service as a public service worker.

Jinyoung previously suffered from a labrum tear in his right shoulder due to injuries from filming dramas and performing. As a result, he received Grade 4 in the Military Manpower Administration’s physical examination and was deemed unfit for active duty.

The same day, the Jinyoung’s agency LINK8 Entertainment uploaded a photo of the singer with the caption, “When the cherry blossoms bloom, we’ll become hotter.”

The singer made his debut as a member of B1A4 in 2011, and the group released hit tracks such as “OK,” “Beautiful Target,” “Baby Good Night,” and “What’s Happening?”

Jinyoung has also garnered attention for his acting in projects such as tvN’s “She is Wow,” KBS2’s “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds,” “Miss Granny,” “The Dude in Me,” and more.
