Choi Woo Shik And Gong Myung To Star Together In New Film
Choi Woo Shik and Gong Myung will be joining forces in an upcoming movie!
On February 20, both actors’ agencies officially confirmed that they would be appearing in the new movie “Puppy” (working title). A representative of Management SOOP stated, “Choi Woo Shik will appear in ‘Puppy,'” while a representative of Fantagio similarly remarked, “[Gong Myung]’s appearance in ‘Puppy’ has been confirmed.”
“Puppy” is a film about two men with puppy-like charms and their interactions with an actual dog. The movie will be helmed by Kim Joo Hwan, the director behind the hit film “Midnight Runners” and Park Seo Joon‘s upcoming movie “The Divine Fury,” which will also feature a cameo appearance by Choi Woo Shik.
Choi Woo Shik most recently starred in director Bong Joon Ho’s new film “Parasite,” which made history last month as the first Korean film ever to win the prestigious Palme d’Or at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival. Meanwhile, Gong Myung recently starred in the hit movie “Extreme Job,” which set a new record for the highest-grossing Korean film in history earlier this year.
“Puppy” is currently scheduled to begin filming in the second half of 2019.
