June Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 100 idol groups, using big data collected from May 20 to June 21.
BTS maintained their spot at the top of the rankings this month, scoring a total brand reputation index of 19,031,824 for June. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Wembley,” “London,” and “YouTube,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “worldwide,” “mania,” and “love.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 84.20 percent positive reactions.
BLACKPINK and TWICE similarly defended their respective positions at No. 2 and No. 3 on the list this month. BLACKPINK scored a total brand reputation index of 6,589,376 for June, while TWICE followed close behind with an index of 6,386,629.
ITZY came in at a close fourth with an index of 6,111,828 for the month, marking a staggering 288.40 percent increase in their score since May.
Finally, NU’EST held onto their spot at No. 5, enjoying an increase of 11.58 percent in their score for a total index of 5,884,004 for June.
