Watch: Ong Seong Wu And Kim Hyang Gi Have An Odd 1st Encounter In "Moments Of 18" Teaser

JTBC’s upcoming drama “Moments of 18” has revealed its first teaser of Ong Seong Wu and Kim Hyang Gi!

“Moments of 18” is about young men and women at the impressionable age of 18, when even the smallest of things can set off a whirlwind of emotions. The lives of these 18-year-olds show that the moments that pass by can leave deep, real impressions. The drama is Ong Seong Wu’s first appearance in a TV drama and Kim Hyang Gi’s first drama appearance in four years.

Ong Seong Wu will play Choi Joon Woo, a lonely 18-year-old boy who has a hard time expressing his emotions but has an unexpectedly odd and cute charm. Kim Hyang Gi will take on the role of the model student Yoo Soo Bin, who is raised under a mother who controls every aspect of her life and lives without a dream. When Soo Bin approaches Joon Woo without any prejudice, he opens up his heart to her, and her life also begins to change after meeting him.

In the teaser, Joon Woo is the only student that’s not wearing a uniform. While he’s putting away his bike, Soo Bin walks up to him and asks, “Checkered shirt, are you okay?” She raises her arm and stretches it back, telling him to do the same. Though confused, he begins to do as told, and eventually the expression on his face turns into a smile. The youthful energy of this first encounter between the 18-year-old boy and girl tickles viewers’ hearts.

At the end of the video, Ong Seong Wu narrates, “This moment anyway, 18 anyway.”

“Moments of 18” premieres on July 22 at 9:30 p.m. KST as the follow-up to “The Wind Blows” and will be available on Viki with English subtitles. Check out the teaser below!
