Kwak Dong Yeon To Make Special Appearance In 1st Episode Of "Doctor Detective"

Kwak Dong Yeon will be making a special appearance on the premiere of the upcoming SBS drama “Doctor Detective.”

“Doctor Detective” is a medical investigative drama that will expose the dark side of society and tell the story of a “doctor detective” uncovering the truth and reasons behind people who have become ill in society. This will be the first drama directed by PD (producing director) Park Joon Woo from the investigation show “Unanswered Questions” (also referred to as “The Its Know.”) Lee Ki Woo, Park Jin Hee, and Bong Tae Gyu have recently been confirmed for the drama.

Kwak Dong Yeon will be taking on the role of Jung Ha Rang, a platform screen door service engineer who’s graduated from a technical high school. Jung Ha Rang is a hardworking young laborer who is an employee of TL Metro’s subcontractor, but he has hopes of becoming a full-time employee at a large company as his current company will soon be taken over.

Jung Ha Rang also is full of humanity as he’s a filial son who wants to lessen his mother’s burden by quickly becoming a full-time employee, even though he constantly bickers with her. Another focus point of the premiere will be his chemistry with Do Jung Eun (played by Park Jin Hee) who understands, sincerely worries for, and supports Jung Ha Rang.

Kwak Dong Yeon has already received much praise for his unique acting skills in his past projects. The actor will once again leave a strong impression on the viewers through the drama’s opening act.
