Jo Woo Ri Takes Lead Role In New Web Drama

Jo Woo Ri is appearing in a new web drama!

On June 25, it was announced that Jo Woo Ri has taken the lead role in the web drama “It’s Okay, You Won’t Die” (literal title).

“It’s Okay, You Won’t Die” is about Oh Min Joo (played by Jo Woo Ri) who’s in her third year of being an office worker. She’s the youngest employee at her office and dreams of the day she can quit and leave her stuffy work life. It tells the story of conflicts with her boss, concerns about her life and future, and her character learning to pave her own way through these ups and downs. She’ll also find herself in romantic situations with new employee Kim Do Hoon (played by Kang Yool). Many viewers will relate to her ordinary and realistic story.

After debuting in 2013 through “Sirius,” Jo Woo Ri has appeared in many dramas including “Medical Top Team,” and “Modern Farmer.” She became well-known through her role in “Descendants of the Sun” and went on to appear in “Witch’s Court” and “Queen of Mystery 2.” The actress especially gained a lot of attention through JTBC’s “My ID is Gangnam Beauty” for her perfect portrayal of Hyun Soo Ah.

Co-produced by DIA TV and Lotte Liquor, “It’s Okay, You Won’t Die” premiered June 25 at 8 p.m. KST. It will air every Thursday at 8 p.m. KST on DIA TV’s YouTube channel and Facebook page, as well as tvN D Story’s YouTube channel.
