Brave Entertainment Responds To Reports Of BIGSTAR Disbanding With Update Of Members' Contract Status
Brave Entertainment has responded to reports about BIGSTAR’s current status.
On June 26, it was reported that all of the members of BIGSTAR would not be renewing their contracts with Brave Entertainment, naturally meaning that the group would be disbanding.
A source from Brave Entertainment responded to the report by denying that a decision on the group’s potential disbandment has been made yet. They stated, “Our exclusive contracts with Feeldog, Jude, and Sunghak, the members of BIGSTAR who have not enlisted yet, are set to expire in July. We are currently in the process of negotiations on contract renewals.”
BIGSTAR made their debut in 2012 and have been active in both Korea and Japan. Their most recent Korean album was their second mini album, which was released in September 2015. Member Baram began his military service as a public servant in February 2017, and Raehwan enlisted in February 2018. Feeldog made his second debut as a member of the project group UNB after appearing on KBS’s “The Unit.”
It remains to be seen whether the members will renew their contracts with Brave Entertainment. Stay tuned for more updates!
