Watch: Ong Seong Wu Has Life-Changing Encounter With Kim Hyang Gi In New "Moments Of 18" Teaser
JTBC’s upcoming drama “Moments of 18” has shared an intriguing new teaser!
“Moments of 18” is an emotional new drama about the unique perspective of youth. Ong Seong Wu will star as Choi Joon Woo, a lonely teenager who has a hard time expressing his emotions and opening up to others, but who is internally strong and has an unexpected cute side. Kim Hyang Gi will play the role of Yoo Soo Bin, a model student who dreams of independence from her ambitious and controlling mother.
Choi Joon Woo, who has grown accustomed to always being on his own, finds himself opening his heart after meeting fellow student Yoo Soo Bin; while the freedom-craving Yoo Soo Bin finds herself making small but meaningful changes to her life after getting to know Choi Joon Woo.
On July 1, “Moments of 18” released a new teaser clip that hints at the potential for this life-altering dynamic between its two leads. In the video, Yoo Soo Bin removes a name tag bearing someone else’s name from Choi Joon Woo’s uniform. As Choi Joon Woo fidgets awkwardly, Yoo Soo Bin says, “Hey, transfer student. You a ghost? You’ve got no color.”
She goes on to ask him, “Don’t you find it infuriating? Living without anyone knowing who you are?” When the quiet Choi Joon Woo doesn’t reply, Yoo Soo Bin says, “Okay, watch carefully.” As Choi Joon Woo watches with a look of awe, she then cheerfully throws away the name tag she’s removed from his uniform. The camera then cuts to a shot of a temporary name tag bearing the name “Choi Joon Woo.”
Ong Seong Wu then reads the drama’s tagline in voice-over: “Whatever happens, this moment; whatever happens, 18.”
“Moments of 18” premieres on July 22 at 9:30 p.m. KST and will be available with English subtitles on Viki. In the meantime, check out the new teaser below!
