Lee Ki Woo And Lee Chung Ah Revealed To Have Broken Up
It was revealed that actors Lee Ki Woo and Lee Chung Ah parted ways last year.
On July 7, the two actors’ agencies stated to Sports Chosun, “Lee Ki Woo and Lee Chung Ah went from lovers to friends in 2018. As colleagues and friends who would share concerns about their work and lives with each other, they are continuing to support one another.” The agencies explained that the actors were careful to announce their breakup because they had received lots of love from the public for their relationship.
Lee Chung Ah and Lee Ki Woo first met through tvN’s “Flower Boy Ramyun Shop” in 2011, and they became close while being active members of celebrity ski team A11. In April 2013, they confirmed that they were dating. There had been rumors of their breakup in the past, and they have now announced the news through their agencies.
Lee Ki Woo is a model-turned-actor who debuted through the film “The Classic” in 2003. He starred in dramas like JTBC’s “The Lady in Dignity” and “Rain or Shine” as well as SBS’s “Fates and Furies.” Lee Chung Ah debuted with the movie “Resurrection of the Little Match Girl” and rose to stardom with “Temptation of Wolves.” Her more recent works include MBC’s “Lucky Romance,” tvN’s “Because This Is My First Life,” MBC Every1’s “Sweet and Salty Office,” and JTBC’s “Beautiful World.”
Both actors are getting ready for their next projects. Lee Ki Woo will take on a lead role in SBS’s “Doctor Detective,” which premieres on July 17, and Lee Chung Ah will star in the follow-up drama “VIP.”
