Watch: Ong Seong Wu, Kim Hyang Gi, And Shin Seung Ho Become Emotional In New "Moments Of 18" Teaser
JTBC’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Moments of 18” has released a new teaser!
“Moments of 18” is an emotional new drama about the unique perspective of youth. Ong Seong Wu will take on the role of Choi Joon Woo, a lonely 18-year-old boy who has a hard time expressing his emotions. Kim Hyang Gi will play the model student Yoo Soo Bin, who is raised under a mother who controls every aspect of her life and lives without a dream. Shin Seung Ho will appear as Ma Hwi Young, who looks perfect on the outside but holds darkness within him, bringing gravity to the drama.
On July 9, “Moments of 18” released a new teaser clip that introduces the complex relationships between the three lead characters. Yoo Soo Bin meets Choi Joon Woo on their way to school and shouts, “Hey there, Plaid Shirt! Are you okay?” Choi Joon Woo later introduces himself to his new class, making Yoo Soo Bin smile.
Choi Joon Woo’s relationship with Ma Hwi Young is teased when he grabs the latter’s hand and asks, “Why are you pretending it’s not [you]? It is you.” Ma Hwi Young heatedly responds, “So what? So what if it’s me, you trash bastard?”
Afterwards, Yoo Soo Bin enters the shot with her mother, who screams, “You’re embarrassed?!” Yoo Soo Bin glares back at her mother with tears in her eyes and replies, “Did you have me just so you can brag about me to other people?”
As clips of Choi Joon Woo and Yoo Soo Bin hiding from the rain flash by, Ong Seong Wu reads the drama’s tagline in voice-over: “Whatever happens, this moment; whatever happens, 18.”
“Moments of 18” premieres on July 22 at 9:30 p.m. KST and will be available with English subtitles on Viki. In the meantime, check out the new teaser below!
