Shannon Belatedly Revealed To Have Left MBK Entertainment
It has belatedly been revealed that Shannon has left MBK Entertainment after 8 years.
On July 9, a source from MBK Entertainment confirmed, “Our contract with Shannon ended in February. We decided not to renew it.”
Shannon first made a name for herself in 2010 on SBS’s “Star King” and went on to sign an exclusive contract with MBK Entertainment in 2011. In 2013, she appeared as a contestant on JTBC’s “Hidden Singer 2” as an IU impersonator, and she caught people’s attention with her beauty and vocal talent.
She officially made her K-pop debut in 2014 but then appeared on SBS’s “K-pop Star 6: The Last Chance” in 2016, where she made it to the top 10. She has released songs like “Love Don’t Hurt,” “Hello,” and “Hatred Farewell.”
